About
-
Vessel is a faith-based music publication rooted in thoughtful listening and intentional curation.
We cover Christian music as well as secular music created by artists whose work is shaped by faith. Our aim is not to force categories, but to engage music honestly where belief, craft, and meaning meet.
We believe God uses people as vessels to carry and share the gifts He’s given them. Music is one of those gifts, and Vessel exists to steward it with care.
This approach sits outside the norm. Rather than separating music into rigid lanes, Vessel seeks to bridge the gap while keeping Christ at the center of the work.

Vessel began as a response to how often music is rushed and disconnected from meaning.
We wanted a space to engage music slowly and thoughtfully, informed by faith without being confined to one genre or industry. Vessel exists to highlight music with depth and sincerity while remaining rooted in Christ.
This work is shaped by the reminder to pursue what is good with intention and purity of heart:
“Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the master of the house, ready for every good work..”
2 Timothy 2:21 (ESV)
